Positive, leader, hands-on, strategic and pragmatic.

TL;DR

I work at the intersection of craft and leadership. With over 14 years of experience, I bring people and ideas together to break down siloes, encouraging teams to think beyond the single feature and into holistic systems. I have a high tolerance for ambiguity and am at my best during "blurry periods," storming through ambiguity to provide strategic clarity.

Approach

I focus on delivering quality experiences that respect the user’s time and money.

Alignment comes from showing, not just telling, which is why I make things visual and tangible early. That allows for true collaboration and a constructive environment where we can challenge each other’s ideas to make the work better.

Consistency breeds clarity, which boosts velocity. To achieve that, I rely on systems—be that ways of working or a design system—built on clear contracts.

I believe in having a compelling North Star as a guide, but I won’t let that hinder our agility. Perfection is a journey. Think big, start small, and value progress over perfection by building, testing, and shipping often.

Nobody is truly aligned until you are looking at the same thing. Design solves that.

Writing

I penned a short piece a while back called "What Chef's Table Can Teach You About Design", where I explore the unexpected connections between gastronomy and the art of crafting digital experiences.
I hope it gives you more insight into my perspective on design.
